If you are a teacher or administrator in the Oakland Unified School District interested in becoming more involved with the Teaching Fellows, contact Ann Tsai at (510) 879-8512. Current and retired teachers participate in candidate recruitment, selection, cultivation, and training for the program.

Summer Job Opportunities

We are looking for outstanding educators to join our 2010 Training Institute team and help us prepare the next cohort of Fellows to impact student achievement. See below for more information about how you can be more involved with the Teaching Fellows.  If you have questions or experience difficulty accessing these job opportunities, please email Jen Thompson for more information.   

The Deputy Institute Director works with the Training and Resource Manager to prepare and run the six-week Training Institute for approximately 85 new Fellows this summer.

Fellow Advisors are experienced and successful teachers, who guide Fellows as they learn to set high academic goals, invest students in these goals, and work strategically to meet them.
